Mumbai: In view of increasing cases of Coronavirus, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has released a new guideline. According to which, if 5 or more corona patients are found in a building, then that building will be sealed. Also, a raid campaign will be conducted to check whether the wedding hall, club, and restaurant are following the guidelines of Corona. Given Corona’s new strain, those returning from Brazil will inevitably have to remain quarantine. The capacity of the Covid-19 test will be increased in those areas where positive cases are being reported.
Explain that in view of the increase in the cases of Covid-19 in Amravati, today the district administration announced the implementation of weekend lockdown. The lockdown will be on Saturday from eight o’clock at night to seven o’clock on Monday and during this time markets and other establishments will remain closed. However, essential services will remain unaffected. District Magistrate Shailesh Naval said that all establishments, including hotels and restaurants, will remain open till eight in the night for the rest of the week. Earlier they were open till 10 o’clock at night.
He said, ‘I appeal to the people to follow proper behavior related to Kovid to avoid any kind of strict lockdown in future.’ He said that all markets and other establishments would remain closed during the lockdown over the weekend. He said, “Swimming pools and indoor games will also be closed, while only five people will be allowed in religious programs.” Maharashtra is once again witnessing an increase in Kovid cases.
