Blood will reach needy by drone

New Delhi: For the first time in India, the technology of delivering blood through drones has been developed. With the help of drones, blood can be sent from one place to another. With this facility, people will get relief from heavy jams and traffic. Along with this, the time and money spent on commuting will also be saved. So far it has been successfully tested. Soon this facility will be available in some cities.

Indian Council of Medical Research Director General Dr. Rajeev Behl told that this i-DRONE was first used by ICMR during the COVID-19 pandemic to deliver vaccines to inaccessible areas. Today we are transporting blood and blood-related products. Which should be kept at a low temperature.

Dr. Rajeev Behl told that after the experiment, we found that not only can we maintain the temperature. In fact, there was no damage to the transported products either. We sent another sample through ambulance and if there is any difference in the samples sent using the two methods. So this drone will be used all over India.
