Indore: BJP MP Shankar Lalwani has been surrounded in the stepwell incident on Ram Navami in Indore. The Congress is accusing him of giving protection to the encroachers, as well as questioning his participation in the Sindhi Samaj program organized in Bhopal during the incident. In such a situation, the MP is seen clarifying. He said that he was not in politics at that time when the slab encroached on the stepwell.
In Indore’s Patel Nagar, 36 devotees died in a stepwell accident at Beleshwar Mahadev Temple on the day of Ram Navami. On this, the administration has registered a case of culpable homicide against Shri Beleshwar Mahadev Jhulelal Mandir Trust President Sevaram Galani and Secretary Murli Sabnani. Along with this, the stepwell and the temple under construction have also been razed to the ground, but despite knowing about the encroachment and covering of the stepwell in the name of the temple, the Municipal Corporation did not take action under political pressure. For this reason, MP Shankar Lalwani is seen surrounded, by Congress leaders and local people openly accusing BJP MP Shankar Lalwani of giving protection to the encroachers.
Bypassing the decision of society, it was expensive to go to the Bhopal program
It is being told that Sevaram Geelani, the chairman of the temple trust, had the protection of the MP. That’s why the illegal construction of Bawdi and the temple could not be demolished, many times complaints also reached the Municipal Corporation, but due to political interference, action could not be taken against them. At the time of its accident, MP Shankarlalwani reached Bhopal to participate in the program of Sindhi Samaj. Due to this he once again came under the target of Congress, Leader of Opposition in Municipal Corporation Chintu Chokse said that after such a big incident, the Prime Minister did not welcome him and made his visit to Bhopal with simplicity. But on the simplicity of the Prime Minister, MP Lalwani’s love for the three M’s ie stage, garland and mike has overshadowed him. In this incident, 13 people of the Sindhi community were killed, due to which the Sindhi community decided not to go to the program in Bhopal, while about 5000 people of the society were going to go to the program in 50 buses and 500 cars. But no person from the society went. Ignoring the decision of the society, MP Shankar Lalwani reached Bhopal, after such a tragic incident, he should resign based on morality.
MP gave clarification
Now MP Shankar Lalwani is seen clarifying the allegations of Congress, he is accusing Congress itself of doing politics. They say that this program was of a martyr’s family. Socially, I had gone to participate in that program of the martyr’s family. There also we paid tribute first and did not welcome anyone. Congress should not behave like this, this is dirty politics. Where there is a matter of protection of illegal construction on Bawdi, Congress should prove that if I ever stopped anyone in Municipal Corporation to remove the encroachment, then I will leave politics. Where the accident took place, the slab was dumped 35 years ago, at that time I was not in politics.
