New Delhi: The country’s leading car company Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has recalled 9,125 units of Ciaz, Brezza, Ertiga, XL6, and Grand Vitara from the market to fix a possible defect in the front seat belts. Maruti said in the information sent to the stock markets that the manufacturing of these affected cars was done from 2 to 28 November 2022.

The company said, “Some possible defects have been detected in the front seat belts. It may open the seat belt. ”The company has said that it is recalling the affected vehicles for testing and the defective belt will be replaced free of charge. Customers will be contacted soon by the company’s authorized dealership.

The company’s statement said that during this period, MSI’s domestic sales increased by 18 percent to 1,39,306 units. He sold 1,17,791 units in November 2021. Sales of the company’s small cars Alto and S-Presso increased to 18,251 units from 17,473 units during the month.
