New Delhi: The number of Coronavirus Cases has started to increase once again in India. In such a situation, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has extended the suspension applies to all international flights till 30 April 2021. If you understand in easy terms, then all the international flights will be banned till the end of next month. Also, the DCCA Office has said that flights can be operated on certain international routes with the approval of the concerned authority if the need is felt.
In late February, the Union Health Ministry released a set of revised guidelines for flights and passengers coming from several countries. These guidelines were applied to all international travelers arriving via flights originating from Britain, Europe and the Middle East. The new Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) was implemented from 22 February 2021. Now, with the increase of new strain of Corona virus abroad, in India also, due to the increasing number of positive cases, there has been a temporary ban on international flights.

According to the rules implemented by the Ministry of Health from 22 February, all international travelers had to submit a self-declaration form (SDF) for Kovid on the online Air Suvidha portal before the scheduled visit. Passengers also had to upload a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR report on the online portal www.newdelhiairport.in. Also, the passengers were being allowed to board the flight only after thermal screening at the time of boarding. All passengers were required to wear masks, follow the standards of social distancing. Also, it was compulsory to download the Arogya Setu App.
