New Delhi: Babar Azam, the captain of the Pakistan cricket team, is known for his prolific batting skills and his leadership qualities. However, he recently made headlines for a different reason, which might make his fans chuckle. According to media reports, Babar Azam was fined by the Karachi Traffic Police for driving his car at a high speed on the Punjab Motorway. He was issued a challan for overspeeding, which is a violation of the traffic rules. A video of this incident is circulating on social media, in which Babar can be seen having a conversation with a police officer. However, the exact amount of the fine that was imposed on Babar is not clear.

This is not the first time that Babar Azam has faced trouble with the traffic police. Earlier this year, Babar was stopped by the police for not having the correct number plate on his car. Although he was not fined on that occasion, this time he could not escape the penalty for speeding his vehicle. Babar Azam might have to be more careful in the future, as he is a role model for many young cricketers and fans in Pakistan.

Babar Azam is currently preparing to lead the Pakistan team in the upcoming ODI World Cup, which will be held in India. The Pakistan team was supposed to have a team bonding session in UAE before flying to India, but due to the delay in getting the visa, they had to cancel their plans. The Pakistan team will now reach Hyderabad on 27th September via Dubai and will play their first warm-up match of the World Cup against New Zealand at Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium on the same day. After that, they will play their second warm-up match against Australia in Hyderabad on 3 October.

The Pakistan team will begin their campaign in the ODI World Cup on 6 October against the Netherlands in Hyderabad. On October 10, they will face Sri Lanka at the same venue and after that, they will face their arch-rivals India on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. The match between India and Pakistan is expected to be a high-voltage encounter, as both teams have a history of intense rivalry and passion. Babar Azam will have to lead his team from the front and showcase his batting prowess and his calm temperament. He will also have to motivate his teammates and devise effective strategies to counter the strong Indian team. The Pakistan team will hope to repeat their performance from the 2017 Champions Trophy final, where they defeated India by 180 runs and lifted the trophy.
