
New Delhi: In view of the danger of 12000 Indian government websites being hacked by Indonesian cyber hackers, the Ministry of Home Affairs Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center has issued an important alert. I4C i.e. Indian Cybercrime Coordination Center has issued this alert to the Government of India organization CERT i.e. Computer Emergency Response Team. According to Indian cyber security agencies, 12000 government websites have websites of the central government and different state governments.

According to the issued alert, this hacking group is located in Indonesia, whose name is Hacktivist Indonesia. A list of these 12000 government websites has also been made by hackers, about which the concerned cyber security agencies in India have been alerted. It has also been said in the alert that hackers are targeting government websites in this way, and the website will be closed as soon as it is opened. It has been reported that state and central government websites are potentially being targeted. The alert has urged the concerned government officials to take preventive measures. Last year, a massive ransomware attack paralyzed the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), with its centralized records becoming inaccessible, apart from other hospital services.
