New Delhi: There are no immediate plans and no special flights for the safe return of Indian nationals from crisis-ridden Ukraine due to the threat of a Russian attack. This information has been given by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). The Ministry of External Affairs has said that earlier there were a limited number of flights under the air bubble system, but the ban has been removed. Now any number of flights can be operated under the new system. In view of this, chartered flights between India and Ukraine have been promoted.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said that the Indian Embassy in Ukraine is keeping an eye on the situation. A control room has also been built here. Our embassy is functioning normally. It is providing services to Indian citizens in Ukraine. Arindam Bagchi said that I do not think that any decision has been taken on bringing Indian citizens from Ukraine. He said that the phone number of the embassy has been issued for assistance and information. Information about toll-free numbers and websites etc. has also been released. These services will continue round the clock and Indian citizens can contact through them.
