New Delhi: The Adani Group, which has been under suspicion ever since the report of the Hindenburg Research Institute, has suffered another setback. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has removed 4 Adani Group companies from the Nifty Alpha 50 index. After March 31, 2023, these companies will not appear in the index. These include Adani Enterprises, Adani Green Energy, Adani Transmission, and Adani Total Gas. Adani Enterprises, Adani Green Energy, Adani Transmission, Adani Total Gas, and Adani Ports from Nifty Alpha Fifty Index, as well as Nifty INDED Alpha 30 Index End Space Economic Zone, will be removed. Besides Adani group companies, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail, Angel One, Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers, Page Industries, and Suzlon Energy have also been dropped from the Nifty Alpha 50 index.
These companies got a place
14 companies in Nifty Alpha Fifty have been excluded from the index. So, Aditya Birla Capital, Apollo Tyres, Bank of India, BHEL, Britannia Industries, IDFC First Bank, Jindal Steel & Power, L&T Finance Holdings, M&M Financial Services, MRF, Power Finance Corporation, Punjab National Bank, Siemens, Zydus Lifesciences Location has been given. Nifty High Beta Fifty Changes have also been made to the index. Five stocks have been excluded from this index. So, many other stocks have been included newly. Vodafone Idea, Grasim Industries, and Tata Chemicals have been removed from the index.
Bharti Airtel and ICICI Bank included in the index
While Adani Total, Adani Transmission, and JSW Energy have been included in the index. Similarly, 4 companies have been excluded and 4 companies have been included in the Nifty Low Volatility Fifty Index. ACC and Ambuja Cements have been excluded from the index. The index includes Bharti Airtel and ICICI Bank.
