Mathura: Advocate Mahendra Pratap Singh and others, who claimed ownership on 13.37 acres of land belonging to Shri Krishna Janmbhumi, filed on behalf of Thakur Keshavdev, on Monday, Amin commission ( Ameen Ayog). He submitted an application in this regard in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge (VII), on which the verdict will be pronounced on 19 February.
District Advocate Shivram Singh Tarkar said, “On December 23 last year, the President of Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Andolan Samiti, Advocate Mahendra Pratap Singh and Advocate Rajendra Maheshwari filed a suit in the court of Civil Judge (Select Class). The court recorded it and heard it on the same day. The matter was to be heard on February 19, but on Monday, plaintiff advocate Mahendra Pratap Singh and others suddenly reached the court. In the absence of the senior civil judge, he submitted an application to Pramod Kumar, the judge of the trial court ADJ (VII). He demanded that since it is a property dispute, the Amin Commission team should be sent to the spot to raise facts in this dispute.
Advocates in court presented their case. The court fixed February 19 for decision. The petitioners said that the demand for making our Amin commission is because even today there are the remnants left in the royal Idgah, which give evidence of the temple being there. Sri Krishna and some mosaic (pictures) etc. on the walls are still present. It will be easy to collect facts for the case from the Amin Commission. Apart from Mahendra Pratap Singh, on February 4, the case of Pawan Kumar Shastri, serving Thakur Keshavdev Temple, has also been filed in the court. He has also claimed ownership of 13.37 acres of Katra Keshavdev belonging to Sri Krishna’s birthplace.
