Mumbai: Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt and actor Ranbir Kapoor on Sunday said that ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’ is special for them for several reasons. The song ‘Kesariya’ from the film also depicts their off-screen relationship. Alia and Ranbir got married in April and both will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s film. The filmmakers released ‘Kesariya’ on Sunday.
In a question-answer session on Instagram ahead of the release of the song, Ranbir Kapoor said that he and Alia always thought of a ‘couple song’. He said, ‘Alia and I talked about ‘what is our song?’ To which Alia Bhatt said, ‘It is very strange that for a long time no one of her songs was made.’
He said, ‘Now we have saffron and this is special.’ The song was also released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. This song has been shot in Varanasi. There are also views of Kashi Vishwanath temple. The film is releasing on 9th September.
