Mumbai: After a long gap of 18 years, Bollywood fans are in for a nostalgic treat! Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan have officially reunited for filmmaker Priyadarshan’s action-drama ‘Haivan’, whose shoot began this Saturday.
Akshay made the announcement on his Instagram, sharing a candid Behind-The-Scenes (BTS) video with Saif and Priyadarshan.
In his post, Akshay wrote:
“We all are a little devil… I am starting the shoot of ‘Haivan’ today with my favourite director Priyadarshan sir, after almost 18 years with my brother Saif!”
Their Last Film Together Was in 2008
The star duo was last seen together in YRF’s 2008 film ‘Tashan’, which also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan and Anil Kapoor. The film, however, underperformed at the box office despite much hype.
Since then, fans have been waiting eagerly to see the two back on screen — and now the wait is finally over with ‘Haivan’.
