Bhopal: The cow is once again at the center of Madhya Pradesh politics. This is because of the important decision of the Madhya Pradesh government which is going to be implemented soon. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced on Wednesday morning that a cow cabinet is going to be formed in Madhya Pradesh. This decision has been taken for the protection and promotion of Gaudhan in the state. The Cow Cabinet includes the Departments of Animal Husbandry, Forest, Panchayat and Rural Development, Revenue, Home and Agriculture. With the formation of the Cow Cabinet, the date and place of its meeting has also been decided. The first meeting of the Cow Cabinet will be held on the day of Gopastami on November 22 at 12 noon at Cow Sanctuary Salaria Agar Malwa.
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan wrote in a tweet- It has been decided to form ‘Gaucabinet’ for Godhan conservation and promotion in the state. Animal Husbandry, Forest, Panchayat and Rural Development, Revenue, Home and Farmers Welfare Departments will join the Cow Cabinet. The first meeting will be held on November 22 at Gopastami at 12 noon at Cow Sanctuary, Agar Malwa.
The Congress was also serious about the cow
The seriousness of both the BJP and the Congress is coming to the fore for the protection of cows. It is another matter that cows are still forced to roam the streets. Before the Shivraj government, many steps were taken in the government of Kamal Nath regarding the protection of cows. The then Chief Minister Kamal Nath had decided to upgrade 1000 cowsheds in the state. It was also decided that the cows roaming on the roads would be shifted to the cowsheds. But that did not happen and hundreds of cows are still roaming the streets.
BJP Congress face to face
Politics has also started on the new decision of Shivraj government regarding cows. While the Congress questioned this, saying that the BJP pretends to protect the cows more than to protect them, instead of forming a cabinet, the government should really focus on cow protection. On the other hand, BJP has retaliated by saying that Congress has been doing politics in the name of protection of cows while BJP does not do so. The formation of cow cabinet will benefit in the protection of cows.
Law for Love Jihad
After the announcement of Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh to make a law on love jihad, now other states ruled by BJP are also announcing to make a law on love jihad. Under this, after the big victory in the by-election, the Shivraj Singh government has also decided to make a law on love jihad. This law may soon be enacted.
