New York: Luxury smartphone maker Apple has become the first American company in the market share of two thousand billion dollars. Apple was the first company to have a thousand billion dollar market case. Saudi Aramco achieved a market capitalization of two thousand billion dollars in December 2019. However, since then the company’s capitalization has come down to $ 1,820 billion. Apple’s best-selling smartphone (iPhone) is manufactured in China.
Apple has managed to recover from the shock of lockdown in China due to the Coronavirus epidemic. Because of this, the company’s stock has climbed nearly 60 percent so far this year. It is worth mentioning that these five American companies like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, and Google contribute about 23 percent of the combined market valuation of the S&P 500 companies.
