FIA called the irresponsible move
The Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) in Ohio said the decision to issue a letter to the Connecticut General Assembly was an “irresponsible” move. The FIA in New England stated that the letter was issued based on misinformation by certain antisocial elements under a narrow, nefarious, and reprehensible agenda aimed at creating tension within the community for politically motivated subversive interests. is.

The FIAs of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut urged elected members of the Connecticut General Assembly to deal with the “tragic and unfortunate move” as soon as possible.
