New Delhi: There has been a ruckus in Pakistan after the cremation of a Pakistani man living in Japan. According to a report, the person was actually a resident of Lahore and a few days ago he died in Japan. After this, the local authorities cremated his body instead of burying it. It is being told that this is not the first case that when a Pakistani person has been cremated, according to the report, this is the second time in the last 6 months that a Pakistani person has been cremated in Japan. . Now Pakistani citizens living in Japan are questioning the Imran Khan government of Pakistan regarding the incident. In fact, cremation is forbidden in Islam.

According to the English news website ‘The News’, the name of the deceased was Rashid Mahmood Khan, who was 50 years old. Rashid’s wife was in Japan at the time of his death but he had no contact with any Muslim organization. According to the report, the matter came to light when a friend of Rashid contacted the hospital after which he was told that Rashid had died and his last rites were performed as per Japanese customs.

After this the matter took hold and there is now resentment among Pakistanis living in Japan regarding the funeral. Many friends of Rashid have demanded from the Government of Pakistan that this issue should be taken up with the Government of Japan. Apart from this, many people are expressing their displeasure on social media as well.

By the way, let us tell you that in Japan, most of the dead bodies are cremated by burning. The number of cemeteries in Japan is also very less. The report said that, in such a situation, the Muslim community has to face a lot of difficulties in performing the last rites of the relatives according to their customs.
