Jabalpur: The politics started in the name of 27% OBC reservation in Madhya Pradesh is not taking its name to end. The fight is going on only on the issue of increasing OBC reservation. Along with Hindus, now Muslim castes have also been included in this. The list of castes included in OBC has been released on the website of the Backward Classes Commission, in which 38 castes belong to the Muslim community.

A list has been uploaded on the website of the Madhya Pradesh State Backward Classes Commission. This list has been issued by the Madhya Pradesh government. 38 castes included in the Muslim community have also been included in OBC. OBC status will be given to 38 people including Rangrej, Bhishti, Hela, Dhobi, Mewati, Manihar, Kasai, Mirasi, Carpenter, Berber, Hammal. It is clear that a large population of the Muslim community will also now come under the purview of OBC.

BJP government merciful on minorities
After this list comes out, now the question arises whether the government is trying to help the minorities. Politics is also fast on this issue. Congress has clarified that BJP tries to do politics on every issue and OBC reservation increased by 27% is also one of them. Former Finance Minister Tarun Bhanot said that he was also a member in the committee which gave 27 percent reservation to the OBC category. The original purpose of giving reservations to OBC class was to remove backwardness. But BJP is again trying to do politics. In the same Lok Sabha, BJP’s chief whip and BJP MP Rakesh Singh says that Congress does appeasement on every matter. Whereas BJP wants to give the benefit of reservation only to the deserving.

OBC reservation in MP
Barring only three occasions in Madhya Pradesh, 27 percent OBC reservation has been implemented in all other government recruitments and examinations. The General Administration Department had issued an order in this regard for all government departments last week. Now only PG NEET Exam 2019-2020, PSC Medical Officer Class 2 Recruitment 2020, and Teacher Recruitment 2018 will not get the benefit of 27 percent reservation because these have been banned by the High Court.
