The H1B visa is a nonimmigrant visa that allows US companies to employ foreign workers in specific occupations that require theoretical or technical expertise. Technology companies depend on this visa to hire thousands of people every year from countries like India and China.
“If your Fiscal Year 2021 petition has been dismissed or administratively closed entirely because your petition was based on a registration submitted during the initial registration period, but you have filed a petition,” USCIS said on Wednesday. If you have requested a start date after October 2020, you can resubmit an already filed petition.” USCIS said that these petitions can be submitted before October 1, 2021.
