Washington: Many times people forget the password of their digital account, which also becomes the cause of their loss. One such case has come to light in America, which is known by everyone who is known as ‘a big loss’.
Due to forgetting the password of programmer Stephen Thomas from San Francisco, US, he is unable to get his Axis of around 1700 crores rupees. Surprisingly, Stephen has got 10 chances to reach the money out of which he has so far tried 8 and is failing.
According to a report, Stephen bought 7002 bitcoins at cheap prices a few years ago, now the value of these bitcoins has increased to 1700 crores. Due to being a digital currency, he needed a password which he had created and also kept it safe by writing it on a paper but now that paper has turned around and he has forgotten the password as well. Stephen cannot get this money without a password.
According to the New York Times news, the digital wallet that Stephen used did not even have any other way to access these money without remembering the password. With the password, he can open the hard drive and get the Axis of money. In digital code, it is called ‘Iron Key’. It has the private key of the wallet in which bitcoins are kept.
It has been said in the news that, after buying his bitcoin, his prices started falling. Many countries have also taken action against it because it did not have any credibility and neither did it have any regulatory body. Stefan had forgotten it and in the meantime he also lost the paper in which the password was written.
Recently, when he checked, it was found that the price of his bitcoins has gone up and he has become an Arab husband, but when he wanted the Axis of these bitcoins, it was found that he had forgotten the password. While trying, he has tried 8 times so far and according to the rule only 10 times can be tried, after which the wallet will be seized and encrypted forever. Now Stephen has only 2 chances, that is, if he is not successful in this, his 1700 crore rupees will be drowned.
