Beijing: Hebei Province of China (China) has increased the ban due to the increase in cases of Corona Virus. Hebei province is adjacent to the capital Beijing (Beijing), which is scheduled to host the Winter Olympics next year. The National Health Commission on Wednesday registered 20 new cases in Hebei province, increasing the number of infected to 39 in the province since Sunday.
The top provincial official said on Tuesday that areas, especially in the cities of Shijiazhuang and Shanghai, are divided into areas of high risk, medium risk. Investigations have been conducted in these areas and there is a ban on people going out. Only those people in the medium risk areas can come after showing their report where the virus infection is not confirmed.
A case of infection also surfaced in Beijing on Wednesday, and Liaoning and Heilongjiang provinces have also been extensively investigated and limited lockdown imposed. According to government broadcaster CCTV, Liaoning province has instructed people in 16 of its districts to stay home and to go out somewhere to show their reports within 72 hours in which the infection is not confirmed.
Schools are closed and tourists have been told not to come to Beijing. 87,215 cases of Covid-19 were reported in China, while 4,634 people died from the infection.
