So far 51 lakh 87 thousand 826 patients have recovered and returned home, which is the highest in the world. At present there are 9 lakh 40 thousand 441 active cases in the country.
Union Health Ministry Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that the second sero survey report of the ICMR showed that a large population is still vulnerable to corona, so we should take full care. From August 17 to September 22, 29,082 people were surveyed. Out of these, evidence of infection of 6.6% has been found. According to the survey, in August, one out of every 15 people over 10 years of age succumbed to infection.
The condition of the major states affected by Corona:
- Good news is coming in Maharashtra about Corona. Talking about the last four days, the number of cured patients was higher than the new patients except Sunday. On Tuesday, 14 thousand 976 patients grew in Maharashtra and 19 thousand 212 people also became healthy. The death rate reached 2.65%. At present, 19 lakh 75 thousand 923 people are in home quarantine.
- In Delhi, 3227 new cases of corona virus were reported on Tuesday, while 48 people died. With this, the total number of infected people has increased to 2,76,325. 2778 people have been discharged on Tuesday. A total of 2,43,481 patients have become healthy in the capital. A total of 5320 patients have died in Delhi so far. There are currently 27524 active patients.
- The case of corona in Bihar is declining. However, the number of testing is more than one lakh. A sample of 1 lakh 44 thousand 535 people was examined on Tuesday. With this, 71.34 lakh tests have been done in the state so far. The positivity rate is 2.6%.
- Corona patients are recovering rapidly in Uttar Pradesh. So far, over 3.36 lakh infected people have been cured. On Tuesday, 3981 patients were found and 5711 were cured. At present, there are 52 thousand 160 active cases. The recovery rate has reached 84.75%.
How much testing done so far?
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 71.41 million samples of coronavirus have been tested till 29 September, out of which 11 lakh samples were tested yesterday.
