So far 1 lakh 5 thousand 526 people have lost their lives from Corona. It is a matter of relief that so far 58 lakh 27 thousand 705 people have recovered from the infection of this virus. The country currently has a positive rate of 8.3%, which means eight people are getting positive for every 100 tests. At the same time, there are 9 lakh 2 thousand 425 active cases. There are 10 states including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, 77% are active cases. Among these, there are three states where 50% of active cases are there. Active cases have been steadily decreasing for the last two weeks. This is a good sign.
48% of deaths occurred in 25 districts of the country
The Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday that so far 48% of the patients died of an infection in the country in 25 districts of eight states. Of these, 15 districts are from Maharashtra. Karnataka, West Bengal and Gujarat have 2–2 districts, while Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu have 1–1 district.
Coronavirus: Relief expected in India, death rate due to corona reduced
The condition of the major states affected by Corona:
- 14 thousand 578 cases were reported in Maharashtra on Wednesday. 16 thousand 715 patients recovered and 355 died. So far, 14 lakh 80 thousand 489 cases have come in the state. Of these, 11 lakh 96 thousand 441 have been cured, 2 lakh 44 thousand 527 patients are still under treatment. While 39 thousand 72 patients have died.
- 1304 cases were reported in Bihar on Wednesday, 1422 people got cured and 2 died. So far, 1 lakh 91 thousand 427 cases have come in the state. Out of these, 1 lakh 79 thousand 351 patients have been cured, while 927 infected people have died. 11 thousand 148 patients are being treated.
- 3389 cases were reported in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, 4219 patients were cured. 47 have also died. So far, 4 lakh 24 thousand 326 cases have been reported in the state, 3 lakh 74 thousand 972 patients have been cured, 43 thousand 154 are undergoing treatment, while 6200 have died. Since September 17, 23 thousand 235 active cases (about 38%) have been reduced in the state.

Death rate and active case rate are being recorded continuously. The death rate fell to 1.54%. Apart from this, the rate of active cases undergoing treatment has also come down to 13%. Along with this, the recovery rate is at 85%. The recovery rate in India is constantly increasing.

According to ICMR, till October 7, a total of 8 crore 34 lakh 65 thousand 975 samples of corona virus have been tested, out of which 11 lakh 94 thousand samples were tested yesterday. The positivity rate is around seven percent.

The number of corona infections in the world has exceeded 360 million. Out of this, 10 lakh 59 thousand (2.92%) people have lost their lives, while over 2 crore 74 lakh (75%) patients have been cured. There are more than 79 lakh active cases in the whole world, that is, so many people are currently being treated in hospital.
