At the same time, 63 more people have died in the state. Out of which 24 deaths occurred in the Pune division. Apart from this, 76 new patients of Omicron have been found in the state.
60,902 active patients in the state
According to the Health Department, after receiving new cases of corona in the state, the number of infected has increased to 78,35,088 and the number of dead to 1,43,355. At the same time, 14,635 patients were discharged from the hospital, taking the figure of those recovering from corona to 76,26,868. At present, there are 60,902 active patients in the state.
Recovery rate hiked
According to the bulletin, the maximum number of 1578 cases of corona infection have been reported in the Pune division. After this 956 new cases have been registered in Nashik division, 812 in Nagpur division, 738 in Mumbai division, 719 in Akola, 235 in Latur division, 240 in Kolhapur division, and 174 in Aurangabad division. The recovery rate in Maharashtra today is 97.34 percent and The death rate was recorded at 1.82 percent.

76 new patients of Omicron
In Maharashtra, the Omicron virus has been confirmed in 76 patients in the last 24 hours. Out of these, 46 patients have been found in Pune and 12 patients in Amravati. Earlier, 121 Omicron cases were found in the state on Thursday. So far, a total of 3,531 patients have been affected by Omicron in Maharashtra. Out of which 2,353 people have been cured.
