According to a Bloomberg report, the Modi government has estimated the cost of vaccine per capita in a country with a population of over 130 million at $ 6-7. The report states that the amount fixed is for the current financial year and there will be no further shortage of funds for this work. It is believed that a person in India will need two injections, which will cost two dollars per shot. In addition,$ 2-3 will be spent on storage and transportation of the vaccine.

Corona vaccine which is being made in India on Tuesday has got permission for the last round trial. It is believed that the trials of Phase 3 of this vaccine of Bharat Biotech may start from next month and the vaccine may be ready by February.
Bharat Boiotech is developing the vaccine in association with the Indian Council of Medical Research. In addition, a vaccine is being developed in India in partnership with the Serum Institute and Oxford-AstraZeneca. At the same time, Zydus Cadila is developing a vaccine called ZyCov-D.
