Bhopal: 457 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in Madhya Pradesh on Friday and with this, the total number of people found infected with this virus till now reached 2,63,747. No person died of the disease in the state in the last 24 hours. So far, the number of people dying from this disease in the state is 3,866.
An official of the Madhya Pradesh Health Department said that 176 new cases of Covid-19 came to Indore on Friday in the state, while 77 new cases were reported in Bhopal.
The official said that out of a total of 2,63,747 infected people in the state to date, 2,56,424 patients have gone home healthy and 3,457 patients are being treated in various hospitals. He said that on Friday, 308 patients were discharged from the hospital after recovering.
