ANI quoted jail officials as saying that around 20 inmates of Aadharwadi Jail in Kalyan have been found to be Corona positive. All these prisoners have been shifted to Thane Civil Hospital for treatment.

According to a report, earlier on Sunday, State Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that after Diwali, the corona restrictions in the state can be relaxed some more. Tope said that a decision on this would be taken by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray after discussions with the Health Department and the task force on the number of fresh corona cases. It is reported that CM Thackeray will hold a meeting with the Covid Task Force on Monday around 3 pm.
