Virginia Beach (US): Two people were killed and eight were injured in a shooting incident on the Atlantic Ocean on Virginia Beach. Virginia Beach police said in a statement Saturday that three people have been arrested in the case and are between 18 and 22 years of age. He has been charged with assault and reckless use of weapons.
The first incident of firing took place at 11 am on Friday night in an area which has many hotels, clubs and restaurants and is often crowded with people. Police said investigators believe the shootout occurred due to a fight between a group of people. The police department’s statement said, “Many people took out weapons and opened fire on each other, causing many injuries.” Police said that the patrolling officers took immediate action, but after some time more bullets were fired. He said that in the second shootout, a woman standing near the spot was killed. Another person was killed in these firing incidents.
