New Delhi: There does not seem to be any improvement in the situation of Corona around the world, but the Emergency Head of the World Health Organization (WHO) Dr. Michael Ryan says that this year The public health emergency in Corona may end. WHO declared a world health emergency on Corona in 2020. Dr. Ryan has said that if we remove the huge inequalities in the distribution of vaccines and medicines between poor and rich countries, then this year the troubles of coronavirus, deaths, hospitalizations, and lockdowns can be stopped. Huh.
The virus will never end
Dr. Ryan said we can never eliminate this virus now because these viruses have become a part of our ecosystem now but if we can do some things then we can have a good chance to end the public health emergency. The WHO’s emergency chief has called the vaccine disparity between poor and rich countries a terrible moral failure. He has said that it is ironic that on the one hand 80 percent of the people in rich countries have received both doses of the vaccine and on the other hand even 10 percent of the people in poor countries have not received a single dose of the vaccine.
55 lakh deaths so far
Dr. Ryan was addressing world leaders and businessmen in a virtual conference. He said that if we do not impart resources and vaccines to every part of the world impartially to fight Corona, then this tragedy of the Corona epidemic will continue for us as it is at present. So far 55 lakh people have died in the world due to corona. He said that we have to reach the vaccine to maximum parts of our population so that at least people get corona infection and no one has to die from it.

What is Public Health Emergency
A public health emergency is issued when an extraordinary situation arises regarding a disease. It can take the form of an epidemic and the possibility of spreading it from one country to another increase. There are two criteria for declaring an international health emergency on any disease or infection. First, the risk of disease must be in more than one country. Second, there is a need for cooperation and coordinated efforts at the international level for the prevention of the disease. The World Health Organization has declared a public health emergency six times so far.
