It is reported that Mahnaz Mohammadi has sent his cut hair to the ‘Kerala Film Festival 2022’ as well as he has also sent his message. However, she herself could not attend the film festival. The reason for which he has given in the message sent by him. In such a situation, Mahnaz Mohammadi sent her to cut hair at the film festival of her friend and Greek filmmaker and director and jury member Athena Rachel Tsangari. Mehnaz Mohammadi’s friend received the award on her behalf on Friday afternoon at a ceremony held at Nishagandhi Auditorium. While receiving the award, he showed the cut hair of Mahnaz Mohammadi and also told the message sent by him.
Mahnaz Mohammadi wrote in the message, ‘This is my hair. Which I have cut showing my pain. Which shows the end of my pain. I am sending it to you because these days we need unity to get our equal rights.’ She also requested the audience to chant women, life, and freedom.
