New Delhi: Messaging platform WhatsApp has banned more than 3 million Indian accounts. The company received reports related to 594 complaints between June 16 and July 31. Acting on it, he took this step. WhatsApp has given this information in its compliance report.
In the latest report released on Tuesday, WhatsApp said that 3,027,000 Indian accounts have been frozen between June 16 and July 31. WhatsApp had earlier said that more than 95 percent of the accounts that were banned were because of their unauthorized use of bulk messages.
Globally, WhatsApp blocks an average of 8 million accounts every month for misuse of its platform.
