New Delhi: The number of people infected with Coronavirus (Covid-19 Cases in India) has crossed 91 lakh in India. Meanwhile, daily cases of corona have increased in Delhi, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. At the same time, the death toll has risen. The case of the body being cremated with full respect in the death due to corona was heard in the Supreme Court today. The court, meanwhile, has asked the Delhi, Gujarat, and Maharashtra governments to submit status reports on the growing cases of the corona. Now the next hearing, in this case, will be on Friday.
Justice Ashok Bhushan said, “Things have got worse in Delhi in the last few days, We want to know in detail what affidavit has been given by the government to prevent the spread of Corona ‘On this. the lawyer of the Delhi government said that we had followed all the instructions. The court said that but what would you say on the current situation. You file a clear status report on this issue. The apex court has asked the Delhi government as well as the Maharashtra government and the Gujarat government to file a status report.
However, the Solicitor General said that this is not a matter between the Center and Delhi. On November 15, the Home Minister has taken some instructions and steps, but the Delhi government needs to do more.
The number of corona infections in Delhi is over 5.29 lakh
In fact, 6746 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the national capital of Delhi on Sunday. With this, the number of corona infections in Delhi has crossed 5.29 lakh. In addition, 121 patients have died due to corona infection in the last 24 hours. This is the highest number of deaths per day due to corona infection in Delhi. With this, the death toll due to the coronavirus epidemic in Delhi has increased to 8391.
Maharashtra ranks first in terms of active cases
Meanwhile, 5753 new corona cases have come to light in Maharashtra in the last 24 hours. In addition 4060 more people have recovered. 50 more people have died due to corona. Night curfew in 4 major cities of Gujarat
On the other hand, in view of the growing threat of corona infection, night curfew has been declared in 4 major cities of Gujarat. Indefinite night curfew has been imposed in Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat and Vadodara from 9 pm to 6 am on Monday. The day and night curfew is already in place in all the four cities, which ended at 6 a.m. today. CM Vijay Rupani held a high level meeting yesterday after which the night curfew was decided. Rupani has issued a video message urging the people to strictly abide by the night curfew and corona rules.
SC reprimands for unbridled celebrations in Gujarat
The Supreme Court reprimanded the Gujarat government for the rampant celebrations, weddings, and events in the state despite the rising epidemic cases. Justice MR Shah said, “After Delhi and Maharashtra, the situation is worst in Gujarat. What is your policy? What’s going on What is all this? ‘ The court said that apart from Delhi, the situation is critical in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal. The Kovid epidemic is on the rise due to negligence.
Questions raised on corona testing in Delhi
The Supreme Court has raised questions about the testing on the Delhi government. The court said that the cases have increased as compared to Chennai and Mumbai. The court asked why the testing has been reduced from 7000 to 5000 in one day. While in Mumbai and Chennai this testing has increased from 15 thousand to 17 thousand. Explain that the Delhi government itself had believed that the number of corona testing has decreased.
