According to Rolls-Royce, the luxury car brand is going to enter the electric car segment with Specter. The special thing is that it is completely built on an aluminum structure. The base is shared with the Phantom and Cullinan and will be the spiritual successor to the Phantom Coupe from Rolls-Royce.

Rolls-Royce has also presented Specter as an EV with strong performance credentials. According to the carmaker, the Specter is capable of producing a maximum power of 577 hp and a staggering 900 Nm of peak torque. Rolls-Royce claims that the Specter will accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds.

As far as looks are concerned, the Specter EV gets a slim front grille with split headlight units. Overall, the Specter is based on the iconic Rolls Royce design rather than looking very different from the ICE range. However, the only major change is the unique set of headlights with dual vertical LEDs and taillights which are slim in shape and rectangular in shape.

Rolls-Royce will compete with Bentley’s first electric car, which is considered to be a rival of Specter. According to Bentley CEO Adrian Hallmark, the first EV from the brand will be equipped with 1400 hp power and will be capable of sprinting from 0-60 mph in 1.5 seconds.
