Mumbai: Shree Siddhivinayak Temple of Prabhadevi, run by Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple Trust, will open the doors of the temple early on the first day of the New Year 2023 so that devotees can easily see The doors of the sanctum sanctorum, which opens at 5:30 am on normal days, will be opened for devotees at 3:15 am on Sunday, January 1, which will remain open till 11:30 pm along with running throughout the day. After this, the doors of both the check posts will be closed in view of Tuesday the next day.

According to Adesh Bandekar, chairman of the temple trust board, Lord Shri Ganesh’s aarti will be performed three times from 5:30 am to 6 am, from 12:05 pm to 12:30 pm, and from 7:30 pm to 8 pm in the evening. Sage Aarti will be at 11:50 pm. Special preparations have been made by the temple management, estimating the crowd of lakhs that gather here every year on the first day of the new year.

Similarly, the sanctum sanctorum of the temple will be opened at 4:30 in the morning in view of the faith of the devotees on New Year 2023 in the ancient Ganapati temple located in Titwala East. According to Yogesh Joshi, the trustee of the temple, every year on the first day of the new year, devotees come from far and wide to have the darshan of the first deity Ganesha. Looking at their faith and after two years there is no ban on Corona, and enthusiasm is being seen among the devotees.
