Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, the AirStrip has also been completed on Purvanchal Expressway being constructed from the capital Lucknow to Ghazipur. With 3300 meters long airstrip, UP has become the first state in the country to make two airstrips on the expressway. Earlier, the airstrip on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway is already ready.

Additional Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, Avnish Awasthi said, ‘We will request the Air Force to test the ship by landing it on the airstrip soon. On completion of the Purvanchal Expressway, you will be able to cross the Purvanchal Expressway from the eastern end of the state, Agra-Lucknow Expressway in the middle, Yamuna Expressway in the west, and the entire UP Expressway. ‘

He said, ‘Purvanchal Expressway work is being completed rapidly. The work of 3,300 meters long airstrip of Purvanchal Expressway has been completed. This is the second airstrip, built on the expressway in the state. Every class ship can be landed on it. This airstrip on Purvanchal Expressway is built near Kurebhar in Sultanpur district.

The Indian Air Force has earlier conducted tests on the Agra Expressway by landing ships such as the Mirage 2000, Jaguar, Sukhoi 30, and Super Hercules. With both these airstrips of Uttar Pradesh, the Air Force can react in the face of the war against Pakistan and China.
