Let us know about them through 10 important points…

Number of flats
Originally the number of flats in each tower was fixed at 40. However, this could not happen after the construction work was stopped by the court. While some constructions were already demolished. Now there are 32 flats in Apex Tower and 29 in Cien. The plan was to have more than 900 flats, of which two-thirds were booked or sold.

The height of the Apex Tower is 103 meters while the Sien Tower is 97 meters tall. To blow up these towers, Edifice Engineering has tied up with experts from South Africa who three years ago destroyed a bank building in Johannesburg. The height of this building was 108 meters. Other apartments
There are a few apartments within 8 meters of the twin towers. Apart from this, there are many other buildings within 9 to 12 meters. They have been covered in a special cloth to avoid the wrath of dust during the blast.

3,700 kg of explosives
To blow up the twin towers, about 7,000 holes were drilled in the pillars, and explosives were inserted into them. To bring all these together 20,000 circuits have been made. As soon as the blast occurs, they hit the pillars in such a way that the towers fall straight down, this is called Waterfall Technique.

Traffic closed for half an hour
Regarding how long this process of the blast will last, the project engineer said that today from 2.15 pm to 2.45 pm, traffic on Greater Noida Expressway will be stopped for half an hour. Three African experts and some other government officials will be present no more than a total of 10 people 100 meters from the blast site.

3 thousand truck debris
How long will it take for the dust to settle? Answering this question, experts said that if the wind speed is not normal then it may take some time. After the blast, the workers would proceed to investigate the surrounding buildings and would immediately start working on the rubble. Of course, it will take longer for the debris to clear up. Because it will take three months to transport 55,000 tonnes of debris or 3,000 trucks.

It will feel like an earthquake
After the explosion, its tremor will be felt for a few seconds up to 30 meters, in simple words this tremor is equivalent to an earthquake of 0.4 magnitudes on the Richter scale.

7,000 people had to leave home
Keeping civil security in mind, the residents of the adjoining areas left their homes at 7 am today. Project officials said gas and electricity would be restored by 4 pm and residents would be allowed to return by 5.30 pm.

9 years of a legal battle
The final court verdict, in this case, came in August 2021 after a legal battle that lasted for 9 years. Residents of Supertech Emerald Court Society first moved to the court in 2012, when these towers were approved as part of a revised building plan.

100 crore insurance
100 crores are insured for the safety of the surrounding buildings during the blast. The premium and other costs will have to be borne by Supertech. While the total cost of blasting the twin towers can be more than ₹ 20 crores. At the same time, 800 crores were spent to build this building of Supertech, but it will take only 9 seconds to do it.
