The company’s Joint Managing Director Sudarshan Venu said, “The company is excited about the EV. We believe this will grow rapidly so we are investing in manufacturing products and capacity to play a key role in the EV space.” TVS has engaged a team of over 500 engineers in the development of new electric vehicles. The range of EVs that will be launched in the next two years will include two-wheelers and three-wheelers in both passenger and cargo vehicles.

Upgrade and Expansion of TVS iQube – According to sources, the company will also announce the upgrade of the TVS iQube electric scooter in the next few months. The e-scooter has a maximum power of 4.4 KW and a range of 75 km on a single charge and is currently sold in four cities. Sudarshan Venu said that the company plans to expand the e-scooter across the country before the end of this financial year and expand the availability of iQube to another 20 cities by the end of September.
