London: Britain’s Health Minister Matt Hancock has warned that the India Corona Variant may spread like wildfire to those who have not yet vaccinated the corona. News agency Xinhua told Sky News on Sunday that the coronavirus is spreading rapidly in areas such as Bolton and Blackburn. However, he expressed satisfaction that the current vaccine is excellent and that the current vaccines are effective against the variant. Hancock urged those who are eligible for vaccination, but he had not yet booked an appointment to get the vaccine so that people should get vaccinated as soon as possible. Public Health England (PHE) said that an infection known as B1617.2 in the UK has more than doubled to 1313 from 520 cases reported by the PHE last week.
However, Hancock said plans to ease the lockdown on Monday would still go ahead. Pubs, bars, and restaurants will be allowed to open indoors in England from Monday, while indoor entertainment will also resume, including cinemas, museums, and children’s play areas.
In England, people will be allowed to meet outside in groups of up to 30 people and in groups of six or two families to meet indoors. Meanwhile, UK health experts warned that the next phase of the loosening of the lockdown should be used ‘with extreme caution.
