But after the talks between the government and the association on Friday and the agreement on tax waiver, the talk was made from both sides. The government has decided to waive 5 months tax and halve the tax of 1 month. Also, the date of tax submission has also been extended. After this, the bus operators announced to start the buses.

How long is the tax waived?
The government has decided to waive the entire tax of the bus operators for a period of 5 months from 1 April 2020 to 31 August 2020. With this, it was decided to waive 50 percent tax for the month of September 2020. Along with giving tax exemption, the government has also extended the date of depositing vehicle tax. Now vehicle tax can be deposited by 30 September 2020.
