According to reports, 2 laborers have died in this incident. At the same time, the administration claims that 125 people have been rescued. According to the information received, everything was going well and normal in a packaging unit located in Vareli in the Kadodara area of Surat. Some of the laborers here were doing their daily work on the fifth floor. Meanwhile, all of a sudden a fire broke out. The workers got scared seeing the fierce flames. Out of fear, these laborers started jumping from the fifth floor to save their lives. But in this incident, 2 laborers have died.
After this, the fire brigade personnel who reached the spot after getting information about the fire in the packaging unit brought them all down with a hydraulic lift. According to reports, more than a hundred people have been rescued from this packaging unit at present. Meanwhile, the fire brigade personnel are trying to control the fire. At present, about a dozen vehicles of the fire brigade are present at the spot. Meanwhile, the fire brigade personnel are trying their best to douse the fire on the spot.
Here Surat SDM KG Vaghela confirmed only 2 deaths. He told about this incident that a person jumped from the top floor of the building, due to which he died on the spot. SDM Vaghela further said that several teams of the fire brigade are engaged in trying to douse the fire on the spot. He also told that at present 125 people have been safely evacuated from the building by the fire brigade team.
