New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India, in a recent hearing, addressed the petition filed by the Muslim community regarding the Gyanvapi Masjid dispute. The court decided to uphold the current situation, allowing the continuation of prayers in the mosque’s basement, known as ‘Vyaaz ji the puja’. While the court did not accede to the demands of the petitioners, it has issued notices regarding their petition and scheduled the next hearing for the third week of July. Additionally, responses from the trustees of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and other parties have been requested by April 30.
