Tokyo: Indian para player Sumit Antil has created history in the Tokyo Paralympics 2020. He won the gold medal in Javelin Throw, setting a world record of 68.55m throw. With this, Sumit has become India’s para player, who has won the gold medal in the javelin throw. With this gold of Sumit, India has got two gold medals in Paralympics 2020.

Sumit has broken his own record in this match. He threw 66.95 meters in the first attempt, which became a world record. After this, in the second attempt, he broke his own record by throwing 68.08 meters. Sumit further improved his performance and made a world record with a throw of 68.55 meters in the fifth attempt.

Third Medal in Javenil Throw
Indian players continue to perform well in Paralympics 2020. India has won three medals in the juvenile throw after Sumit Antil won the gold. Earlier on Monday, where Devendra Jhajharia won the silver medal, Sunder Singh Gurjar won the bronze medal.
