New Delhi: The second wave of Corona in the country has created a furore. The government has also accelerated the pace of vaccination. Meanwhile, many states have complained of shortage of vaccine doses. After which there has been a dispute between the state governments and the center. Several states, including Maharashtra, Haryana and Odisha, have claimed that there is a shortage of vaccines in them. In this regard, they have demanded a large number of vaccines from the central government. At the same time, Health Minister Satyendar Jain of Delhi Government said that now only 4-5 days stock is left in the state. However, the Central Government has termed this claim of the states as baseless.
Which states are lacking in the vaccine in the country
Delhi: In Delhi Government Health Minister Satyendra Jain said about the allegations of the Center that we can also say that the pace of vaccination is slow in the Central Government hospitals in Delhi itself. There is only 30-40 percent vaccination in the hospitals of the center, due to which there is a decrease in the figures of Delhi. But this is not the time to fight, but to work together.

Maharashtra: Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope has said that only 14 lakh doses of Corona vaccine are left with the state, which will last only three days and many vaccination centers have to be closed due to lack of vaccines. People coming to such vaccination centers are being sent back because the vaccine doses have not been supplied. We need 40 million doses every week. With this, we will be able to give six lakh doses every day in a week.
Odisha: PK Mohapatra, Under the Chief Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department of Odisha, has written a letter to the Union Ministry of Health, requesting to give 15-20 lakh doses of Covishield to run the vaccination smoothly in the state. He said that according to the available stock in the state and the pace of vaccination, only three more days are left for the dose.
Noida-Ghaziabad: Noida and Ghaziabad, adjacent to the capital Delhi, are also now undergoing vaccine stock. According to reports, only 12 thousand vaccine vaccines are left near Ghaziabad and 13 thousand doses are left with Noida. Ghaziabad recently received only five thousand doses of the vaccine. After the lack of vaccine in Noida, now the number of vaccination centers has come down to 41.
With this, the stocks of Corona vaccine are now running out in Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Haryana. The governments here have appealed to the Center to provide vaccines in large quantities.
What did the central government say?
Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan has taken the governments of Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh complaining of vaccine deficiency. At the same time, he also pulled out the Punjab and Delhi government, which failed to get the vaccination done. Dr. Harsh Vardhan, while replying to the allegations of the Government of Maharashtra, said that there is no shortage of vaccine anywhere in the country. The Maharashtra government is repeating its mistakes time and again.
The Union Health Minister said that the situation in Maharashtra deteriorated due to repeat mistakes. Now the government there is blaming us for hiding its failures. He said that all the states which are talking about vaccine deficiency are working to scare people politically.
Wrote letter to state governments
In the letter written to the Maharashtra government, it has been said that 1 crore 6 lakh 19 thousand 190 vaccine doses were sent by the central government in the state. Of these, only 90 lakh 53 thousand 523 vaccines have been used. The rest of the vaccine dose is still left. In this case, the charge of lack of vaccine is absolutely wrong.
The Health Minister said that only 86% of the health workers were given the first dose of corona vaccine by the Maharashtra government. 72% of health workers were vaccinated in Delhi and 64% in Punjab. On the other hand, more than 90% of the health workers have been vaccinated in 10 other states and union territories. Similarly, these three governments are failing in applying vaccine to front line workers too.
