Washington: In a shocking move, the board of OpenAI, a leading company in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), has fired its CEO Sam Altman, who was hailed as a visionary and a pioneer in the AI industry. Altman, who launched the groundbreaking ChatGPT, an AI chatbot with unparalleled abilities to generate content such as poems or artwork, in 2022, was accused of being dishonest and untrustworthy by the board.
Altman, 38, had become a global sensation and a star of Silicon Valley after the launch of ChatGPT, which quickly gained popularity and recognition around the world. Altman was traveling the world to meet with world leaders and political figures, and to give talks on the potential and the perils of AI.
