Washington: The Republican National Convention ‘(RNC) on Monday formally nominated President Donald Trump once again as its candidate for the November 3 election for the post of US President. Trump, who is facing a major challenge from former Democratic Vice President Joe Biden (77), will deliver his speech on Thursday, the last day of the convention, accepting the nomination from the South House of the White House.
This GOP (Grand Old Party) conference, held once in four years, is running digitally due to the Koreana virus. Some of the official work of this conference took place in Schlert, Carolina. Trump was re-nominated after counting the votes of elected Republican Party representatives from all 50 provinces.
Vice President Mike Pence (61) in the RNC was also once again declared as the Republican nominee for the Vice President. He will give a formal speech on Wednesday. The event also went online, much like the recent Democratic National Convention (DNC). In the DNC, Joe Biden was formally nominated as the presidential candidate on behalf of the Democratic Party, while the party named Kamala Harris of Indian origin as its candidate for the post of Vice President.
