Raj Thackeray asked Uddhav ‘Sarkar’ – opened malls, why not temples?

Mumbai: The lockdown starts in the month of March due to Corona Virus in the state. However, now the lockdown is being unlocked slowly with some concessions. Therefore many services including shops, malls in the state have been exempted. But till now the religious site has not been allowed to start. Therefore, MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) president Raj Thackeray has demanded to start religious places in the state.

The priests of Trimbakeshwar today met MNS president Raj Thackeray to open the temple in the state. On this occasion, President of Trimbak Purohit Sangh Prashant Gaidhani, MNS leaders Bala Nandgaonkar, Nitin Sardesai, Sandeep Deshpande and Santosh Dhuri were present.

Raj Thackeray posed a question that, why malls opened in the state, why not temples? He also said that, religious places should be open, but after that there is more crowd then what? Therefore, rules will have to be made to open the temple, he will call on the government.

Significantly, even earlier, Raj Thackeray had demanded to start a gym in the state. After which the state’s disaster minister, Vijay Vadettivar, had decided to start a gym in the state and said to announce it officially within two days. As of now, no official announcement has been made in this regard.
