QS World University Rankings: IIT Bombay among top 150 institutes in the world

New Delhi: There is good news for Indians in the field of education. Higher and quality education is now also in India. QS World University Ranking 2023 has released the ranking of universities. In this, 45 universities in India have made a place. And IIT Bombay has made it to the list of the top 150 institutes. This is the first time that an Indian higher educational institution has made it to the top list of QS.

IIT Bombay in the list of best universities
The QS World University Rankings 2023 has released the university rankings today, 28 June. This is its 20th edition. IIT Bombay has been ranked 149th in the list of best universities in the QS World University Rankings 2023. IIT Bombay was ranked 176th in the World University Rankings released last year. In 2016, IISc i.e. Indian Institute of Science got 147th rank.

IIT Bombay moved up 23 places
According to the official release issued by QS i.e. Quacquarelli Symonds, IIT Bombay got 51.7 marks out of 100 on the basis of multiple parameters. Due to this, the institute has been ranked among the top 150 institutes and has moved up 23 places in the list as compared to last year.

QS has prepared a ranking of 2900 institutes
QS i.e. Quacquarelli Symonds has prepared a ranking of 2900 institutes this year. 45 Indian institutes got a place in this ranking. Releasing the QS World University Rankings 2023, its founder and SEO Nunzio Quacquarelli congratulated IIT Bombay for its best-ever rank.

275% increase in universities in India
Union Minister of State for Skill Development Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that I am happy that 45 Indian universities have found a place in this rank in the QS World Universities Ranking this year. Last year this number was 41. Indian universities have grown by 275% in the QS World University Rankings in the last 9 years. It also means that now Indian students will not have to go to foreign countries to get quality education.
