Warsaw: President of Poland Andrzej Duda has been confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus. He apologized on Saturday to all those who had to go into exile because of his exposure.
The 48-year-old Polish president said in a record message released on Twitter that he had no symptoms of Covid-19, but unfortunately his corona virus test report clearly confirmed the infection.
“I would like to apologize to all those who have had to go through the process of separation for joining the meeting with me in recent times,” he said. In Poland, the president’s constitutional responsibility is to guide foreign policy and sign bills, and most of the responsibility is formal. In fact, the responsibility of running the country lies with the Prime Minister. In Poland, 13,628 new cases of Covid-19 were reported on Saturday, killing 179 people.
