Dubai: Burj Khalifa of the United Arab Emirates displayed his portrait on the 151st birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Separate pictures of Mahatma Gandhi were displayed on Burj Khalifa at around eight o’clock on Friday night with several messages. Pictures of Mahatma Gandhi were displayed during the Lights Show on Burj Khalifa.
Gandhi Jayanti is also celebrated as International Non-Violence Day on 2 October. It was due to Mahatma Gandhi’s policy of non-violence that India got independence from the British rule in 1947.
