Mumbai: Famous Kathak dancer Pandit Birju Maharaj passed away late at night at the age of 83. He died of a heart attack. Birju Maharaj was playing Antakshari with his grandsons in the middle of the night when suddenly his health deteriorated and he fainted. His family members had admitted him to a hospital in Delhi.
