New Delhi: Today, from May 1, the next phase of Corona Vaccination is going to start across the country. From this coming Saturday, people from 18 years to 44 years will also be eligible to get the corona vaccine. Before that, only those above 45 years could get vaccinated. But for this, it will be mandatory for people between the ages of 18 to 44 to register online from today to get the Corona vaccine.

It is important to note that the Government of India has now made it clear that these people will not get the facility of going to the walk-in or visiting the vaccine centers. Please tell that you can use the Cowin Portal or Arogya Setu Aap to register. Online registration has been validated for Corona vaccination only.

What is the method of registration?

  • For corona vaccination, people aged 18-44 can register from today on the Covin portal or Arogya Setu App.
  • On the Cowin app or website, first of all, go to the website and register.
  • By visiting this app or website, you will have to fill in your mobile number.
  • On inserting the mobile number, you will then be given an OTP. Then you will have to get this OTP verified.
  • After this, you will reach the registration page for your vaccination.
  • Here you have to enter the necessary information for photo ID proof.
  • You can also select an Aadhaar card, driving license, PAN card, passport, a photo ID proof.
  • After this, you will have to enter your ID proof number, your name, gender, and birth year.
  • After filling in all this information, you have to click on the Register button.
  • After registration, you can choose the preferred vaccination center. Here you will also get information about the vaccination dates and timing.
  • Similarly, you can also register yourself for the vaccine on the Arogya Setu App.

The drawback in the Covin portal and Arogya Setu app:

Currently, it was seen at 7.30 am today that the registration limit on the site is still being shown only for those above 45 years. Perhaps this is happening because of the technical story. Which is good if it gets fixed soon.

But now on whether or not those 18 to 45 years will get free vaccine, it has been said that during the vaccination campaign of people from 18 to 45 years, vaccination will also be done in private hospitals where people have to pay money. According to some media reports, now in private hospitals, vaccines will be given by paying around 250 rupees, although the final decision on this is still pending.
